Manuel De La Chica (1911-1998) is one of the most important guitar makers in the world . He was a self-taught luthier who studied and reproduced the guitars of Santos Hernandez in the 1930s. Unfortunately had to retire due to health problem due to the allergy of  chemicals used for french polishing in 1973.

The guitar has a very traditional Spanish ”flamenco” sound, which is dark, magnificent and well balanced. It is super light weight, the response is faster than most of guitars.
