This is a Ramirez III 1A model from the”Golden Era”, with astonishing sound quality and high-grade rosewood body.  The original owner of this master piece is the famous British guitarist, teacher, composer Rob Johns. On the 80s, he decided to purchase a Ramirez from [Birmingham Guitar Centre] where he was working at the time. He picked this one from several Ramirez in stock. The timbre is superb. It definitely a masterpiece from Ramirez workshop in the “Golden Era”.

This guitar has the most iconic Spanish sound of Ramirez , with pure and clear tone, wide dynamic, rich colours, strong bass and excellent sustain.

The most rare thing about this guitar is that it produces magnificent sound while maintaining excellent clarity and very balanced though out six strings. This is why people fell in love with this guitar at first place.

Playing experience:
The timbre of this guitar is very characteristic. The first chord you play can make people feel the nostalgic timbre overflowing from the old Segovia records from the last century-clear, sweet and grainy , bring of our original illusions about the sound of Spanish guitars.

When Rob played in front of me, the sound of this guitar seemed to take me back to the time when tradition and modernity collided. The emotions full of romantic fantasy and wonderful wish were perfectly displayed to the performers and listeners through this instrument. This kind of extreme personality is also rare in Ramirez’s work. It is an impressive Ramirez guitar.
