Anselmo Solar Gonzalez early 1960s Spruce & Brazilian Rosewood Santos Hernandez workshop

Anselmo Solar Gonzalez won the guitar making prizes for his guitars even before he went to work with Santos Hernandez.

Most of his guitar were labelled as Santos Hernandez with much higher price!

This is an early guitar very much in the vein of his Santos period guitars, (and not to be confused with some of the later 1970s+ cheap models, possibly not even made in his workshop).

It has very balanced and crispy clean sound across all the strings, and has the characteristics from the best old world Madrid school makers, the texture of the sound is much like Torres school, loose/dark crisp and long lasting. Incredible for a guitar in this price range.

The label is signed, also stamped by him (as well as a London importer), but faded, along with the date. The endblock also bears his stamp.

Beautiful quality materials especially the gorgeous Brazilian rosewood body. just this set of rosewood will cost over £1500 easily.

A very rare guitar almost impossible to find another one.
